Admissions Process

We are excited to work with your family to determine if Blessed Sacrament School is the best community for your child to grow and learn. We value the importance that parents place in finding the right "educational family" for their child. Our admissions process seeks to support and inform parents as we work together in the best interest of every child. 

All interested families are encouraged to schedule a private tour of the school as an opportunity to visit our classrooms, meet students and faculty and witness the community and school culture. 

The Admissions Process
The regular admission process begins in January prior to the new academic year for any openings that might be available.

To begin the admissions process, please create an account on our Family Portal (https://bss-ri.client.renweb.com/oa/?memberid=17107) Once you have created and verified your account, 

• Please login to FACTS Family Portal
• Type in your username and password. If you have forgotten your username or password, please click on the link provided
• Go to left-side Navigation Menu
• Click on Apply/Enroll  (New students start with the application.)
• Click on Enrollment/Reenrollment

Our Enrollment system will open with a link to the application/enrollment packet for your family. The process should take approximately 15 minutes to complete. Your information will be saved if you need to quit and come back later. If you have any questions, please contact our office at 401-831-3993. 

As part of the admissions process, new students and parents will meet with the Principal.  Students in grades K through grade 7 will be invited to visit a class for the day. Pre-k students are asked to spend 1-1/2 to 2 days in class before an admissions decision is reached . The shadow visit experience also includes an opportunity for the family and the principal to meet, discuss the child and share the Blessed Sacrament School experience and mission. A determination regarding acceptance is usually made within a few days and parents are notified by the Principal. When the student's family and the School Principal agree that BSS is a great fit for your child, enrollment can be completed in the FACTS Family Portal.
